Verdad was designed with an eye toward creating spaces that allow you to take in the stunning beauty of this extraordinary hillside in laid-back luxury. Your extraordinary home away from home, a hidden gem on the untouched coast of the Southern Pacific.

Enjoy stunning views and the sound of waves crashing on the shore. Beautifully landscaped pathways link each of our accommodations to our open-air yoga studio. The pool has expansive views of the ocean and surrounding tropical forest, and the lounge area is a perfect spot to relax, play a board game, and enjoy a sunset cocktail.

FOOD

The restaurant focuses on ocean & farm to table meals utilizing the freshest local ingredients sourced at the nearby farmer’s market. Meals are served family-style to encourage interaction with other guests. We cater to a variety of dietary preferences including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, paleo or something else, just ask. 

ROOM

The Poolside Room has a full-size bed with mosquito net, ceiling fan, private bathroom with hot water shower. The room overlooks the gardens, ocean, and valley below.

ISLETA EL ESPINO (ISLETAS DE GRANADA)

Find a deeper connection to wellness and nature on this private island in Lake Nicaragua, just off the coast of the colonial city of Granda. Isleta El Espino is an intimate destination where you can escape the hustle of everyday life. Unwind by the pool, indulge in a relaxing massage or yoga session, or slip the kayaks into the lake for a sunset excursion around the isletas. 

LOCATION

Isleta El Espino is an eco-lux boutique hotel on a private island in Lake Nicaragua with views of the lake and volcano, a plunge pool, yoga deck, restaurant and bar, organic gardens, fruit trees, kayaks, and on-site spa treatments. The lodge produces its own solar power and filters water from the lake.

FOOD

Meals are lovingly prepared by our kitchen staff and every meal includes fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients, many of which are grown on the island. We cater to a variety of dietary preferences including vegetarian and vegan. However meat, fish, eggs, and dairy are also available.
